Security costs are frequently the least desired yet necessary costs any company or organization must face in daily operations.

A significant savings (at least with NORCAL Protection Services) can be achieved by doing a few things that will greatly reduce staffing and cost concerns:

· Call 12 or more days in advance to schedule services. The more time we have to plan staffing needs the easier it will be to commit personnel to your site and have operations planned well in advance.

· Have all service contracts signed and executed 12 or more days in advance.

· Remember that 8 hour shifts will gain a more favorable rate, and that longer service terms will also gain hourly price concessions.

· Avoid making last minute calls for services to compare prices because all you will receive are highest prices at the time of scheduling.

· Pre-plan events and have attendee lists available and whether or not alcohol will be present at the event.

· Plan for the worst and you can expect to have a trouble-free event, weekend or service period (adequate personnel, allocation of financial resources and having emergency contact people available “just in case”).

· Be ready to discuss your security needs, plans and anticipated issues with NORCAL Protection Services officials.  We are standing by to not only offer you superior services, but also to help reduce costs wherever possible.

· Keep in mind that HOLIDAY’S, summer time and weekends in general are the highest service times which consequently means slightly higher rates due to demand.  This is where prior planning, advance scheduling and contracting ahead of time will help save you money and headaches that frequently result from last minute calls for services.
